Denise Simon's Actors Workshop
Serious education...... Serious FUN!

Denise Simon's Actors Workshop is a place where aspiring young performers can begin to master the craft of acting. Small classes create a non-competitive atmosphere for kids to learn and grow. Performance-oriented programs are offered throughout the year in Westchester and Manhattan.

Private coaching is available for children, teens, and adults.  Denise prepares her students for any audition!  She implements the subtle art of being in the moment and uses the Meisner technique, sense memory, preparation, and dialect coaching.  In addition, commercial technique and acting for television, theatre, and film are part of Denise’s coaching style.

Workshops are held throughout the year.  These include Comedy and Improvisation; Scene Study and Monologues; and Audition for the Musical Theatre, a course that culminates in a performance in a NYC cabaret club.  Several one-day intensive workshops for musical and non-musical theatre are also held throughout the year.  Check out our Classes page to see what courses are offered right now.

Business Consultations are a valuable tool.  Denise evaluates whether or not you or your child are ready to enter show business.  She then guides you through the process of putting together a resumé, getting a great headshot, and hiring a reputable agent or manager.

Corporate Workshops are custom designed by Denise to help employees "think out of the box."  Participants will learn to add spontaneity to any presentation, develop team-building skills, and build confidence in the process!  References are available upon request.
