The Application Process

If you've read our OLE Teacher Requirements, and you think you have what it takes to be an on-set teacher, here are the next steps:

Please mail or fax your résumé, a cover letter, and a completed application form to our executive offices in New York:

On Location Education
400 Columbus Avenue, Suite 7S
Valhalla, NY 10595
FAX: 914.747.2750

An On Location Education representative will contact you should an appropriate project come up, or when an informational/interview session is being scheduled in your area.

Please note that, apart from a personal interview, our hiring process includes a reference check and a thorough background check for criminal records and confirmation of higher education degrees and/or teaching certification.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Think of on-set teaching as working in a one-room schoolhouse.

An OLE teacher must possess:
Organization: Adapting students’ home curriculums to the on-set classroom.

Flexibility: Accepting the fluid nature of a production shoot.

A sense of humor: Working within the realities of changing locations and constant chaos
