We hope you are having a great fall! Our team has begun another school year of educating and empowering young artists around the globe. We are excited to relax this weekend and watch some of our favorite Halloween movies - explore our top picks below!

A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place: Part II

About The Movies: If they hear you, they hunt you. A family must live in silence to avoid mysterious creatures that hunt by sound. Knowing that even the slightest whisper or footstep can bring death, Evelyn and Lee are determined to find a way to protect their children while desperately searching for a way to fight back.

Rating: PG-13

Why We’re Watching: OLE provided services for both installments of this John Krasinski-led horror franchise. If you haven’t seen either movie before, they are both must-see movies.

Where To Stream: Prime Video, Paramount Plus

Beetlejuice

About The Movie: After Barbara and Adam Maitland die in a car accident, they find themselves stuck haunting their country residence, unable to leave the house. When the unbearable Deetzes and teen daughter Lydia buy the home, the Maitlands attempt to scare them away without success. Their efforts attract Beetlejuice, a rambunctious spirit whose "help" quickly becomes dangerous for the Maitlands and innocent Lydia.

Rating: PG

Why We’re Watching: Beetlejuice is fun for all ages with must-see performances from Catherine O’Hara and Winona Ryder. Originally released in 1988, OLE has had the privilege of working on the stage adaptation, which runs on Broadway through January 8!

Where To Stream: HBO Max

Scream

About The Movie: Wes Craven re-invented and revitalized the slasher-horror genre with this modern horror classic, which manages to be funny, clever and scary, as a fright-masked knife maniac stalks high-school students in middle-class suburbia. Craven is happy to provide both tension and self-parody as the body count mounts - but the victims aren't always the ones you'd expect.

Rating: R

Why We’re Watching: The Scream franchise has continued to expand since the first movie was released in 1996, now encompassing five films, a TV series, games, and merchandise - with another film on the way. Start exploring the franchise this Halloween season in time for the next installment in 2023!

Where To Stream: Showtime

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

About The Movie: In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named "Rocky."

Rating: R

Why We’re Watching: The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a must-watch movie this season. Created in 1975 (seven years before OLE began providing services), it has maintained a massive following for nearly 50 years. Many movie theaters have live showings around Halloween where you can dress up, sing along, and have a fun evening out!
